It is a part of the Opoksky rural settlement (until 2014 it was included in the Strelensky rural settlement ) [1] [2] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division - in the Strelensky rural council.
The distance by road to the district center Velikiy Ustyug is 47.5 km, to the center of the village council of Upper Anisimovo - 7 km. The nearest settlements are Chermyanino , Verkhnyaya Kichuga , Lower Kichuga .
According to the 2002 census, the population was 35 people (17 men, 18 women). The predominant nationality is Russians (94%) [3] .
