It is part of the Samotovinsky rural settlement [1] , from the point of view of administrative-territorial division - in the Samotovinsky village council. Until 2001, it was a member of the Luzheng Village Council [2] .
The distance to the district center of Veliky Ustyug by road is 32 km, to the center of the municipality of Novator in a straight line - 21 km. The nearest settlements are Bolshaya Sloboda , Kulatino , Stepanitsa , Lobanovo , Prislon .
According to the census in 2002, there was no permanent population [3] .
