It is part of the Pokrovsky rural settlement (from January 1, 2006 to April 13, 2009 it was the center of the Viktorovsky rural settlement) [2] [3] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division, it is the center of the Victorian village council.
The distance to the regional center of Veliky Ustyug by road is 55 km, to the center of the Ilyinsky municipal formation in a straight line - 6 km. The nearest settlements are Martishchevo , Bykovo , Ignatievskaya , Birichevo , Kushalovo .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 131 people (66 men, 65 women). The predominant nationality is Russian (97%) [4] .
Church of the Nativity in Pervomaisky is an architectural monument [1] .
