It is part of the Pokrovsky rural settlement [1] , in terms of administrative-territorial division - in the Pokrovsky village council.
The distance by road to the district center of Veliky Ustyug is 41 km, to the center of the Ilyinsky municipal formation - 11 km. The nearest settlements are Korolevo , Prislon , Old Zavrazhe .
According to the census in 2002, there was no permanent population [2] .
