It is part of the Opoksky rural settlement [1] , from the point of view of administrative-territorial division - in the Opoksky village council.
The distance by road to the regional center of Veliky Ustyug is 55 km, to the center of the municipality of Poldarsy - 10 km. The nearest settlements - Studenoye , Krasnaya Gora , Threshold .
According to the census in 2002, there was no permanent population [2] .
