It is part of the Mardenga rural settlement [1] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division - in the Mardenga village council.
The distance by road to the regional center of Veliky Ustyug is 12.5 km, to the center of the municipality of the Annunciation - 7 km. The nearest settlements are Toropovo , Opalipsovo , Matreniha , Osinovo , Novator , Lopatnikovo .
According to the census in 2002, there was no permanent population [2] .
