It is a part of Mardengsky rural settlement [1] , from the point of view of administrative-territorial division - into Mardengsky village council.
The distance by road to the district center Velikiy Ustyug is 19.5 km, to the center of the municipal formation of the Annunciation - 4 km. The nearest settlements are Shilenga , Odomchino , Chernyatino , Podsosenye , Toropovo .
