It is part of the Verkhnevarzhensky rural settlement [1] , in terms of administrative-territorial division - in the Verkhnevarzhensky village council.
The distance by road to the regional center of Veliky Ustyug is 65 km, to the center of the municipality of Myakinnitsyno - 6 km. The nearest settlements are Sobolevo , Antushevo , Minino .
