It is part of the Verkhnevarzhensky rural settlement [1] , in terms of administrative-territorial division - in the Verkhnevarzhensky village council.
The distance by road to the regional center of Veliky Ustyug is 75 km, to the center of the municipality Myakinnitsyno - 5 km. The nearest settlements are Verkhnee Chistyakovo , Nizhny Zaimishche , Pasnaya .
