It is part of the Verkhnevarzhensk rural settlement [1] , from the point of view of administrative and territorial division - into the Verkhnevarzhensk village council.
The distance by road to the district center of Velikiy Ustyug is 72 km, to the center of the Miakinnitino municipality 2 km. The nearest populated areas are Andronovo , Myakinnitsa , Udachino , Makarov , Stryukovo .
