Player Career

He played as a heavy forward and center . He studied at the University of North Carolina , in 1983 he was selected by the NBA draft under the 7th number of the Utah Jazz team. He later played for the Minnesota Timberwolves , Panionios , Polti Cantu and Olympia Stefanel Milan teams. In total, the NBA spent 12 seasons. In 1983, Bailey became the champion of the National University Sports Association (NCAA) . He was included in the 1st NBA rookie team ( 1984 ). In 1989, he won the James Walter Kennedy Prize . In total, during his career in the NBA he played 928 games in which he scored 11,834 points (an average of 12.8 per game), made 4718 rebounds , 1298 assists , 435 interceptions and 1086 block shots .
