Player Career
He played as an attacking defender . He studied at the University of California at Long Beach , in 1982 he was selected by the NBA draft under the 48th number of the team “ San Diego Clippers ”. He later played for the Milwaukee Bucks , Phoenix Suns , Chicago Bulls , Shampoo Clear Cant , Galatasaray , Rockford Lightning , Yamtland Ambassadors Ostersund and Washington Congregationals . In total, the NBA spent 10 seasons. In the seasons 1990/1991 and 1991/1992, Hodges became the NBA champion in Chicago. For three consecutive years he became the winner of the three-point shot competition ( 1990 - 1992 ). In total, during his career in the NBA he played 695 games, in which he scored 5940 points (an average of 8.5 per game), made 937 rebounds , 1769 assists , 553 interceptions and 26 block shots .
Coach Career
After completing his professional career, Hodges worked in the Los Angeles Lakers team (2005-2011) as an assistant to Phil Jackson , under whose leadership he won two league titles in the Chicago Bulls. In this position, he also for two consecutive years became the NBA champion in the seasons 2008/2009 and 2009/2010 .
