Gameplay
Based on the famous Fox Engine from Kojima Productions , the game includes a new level of graphics that will help recreate the atmosphere of a football match and diversify the game in terms of the gameplay process.
PES 2014 is based on 6 key elements that will determine the physics and future of the game:
- True ball physics ( TrueBall Tech ) : PES 2014 will focus on everything related to the ball: how it moves and how players control (use) it. The physics of the ball, the anthropometric data of the player (height, weight, physique), speed and altitude are taken into account for a realistic simulation of the atmosphere of football.
- Motion Animation Stability System (MASS) : Football players will also be a very important component of the game with ADST, which will affect physical contacts (wrestling) between players, collisions, tackles and the adoption of artificially intelligent decisions to get even more freedom in the game playing in PES.
- Emotions ( Eng. Heart ) : Football is all about emotions on the football field and the atmosphere that fans create by the method of singing, lighting fires, firecrackers and various performances. All this will affect not only the atmosphere during the match, but also the moral component of the players and the team as a whole. Finally, fans will become 12 players as they are in real football. On the football field, morale (good or bad), performance, player’s return to the game will also affect the team as a whole. This can affect the general morale of the team or individual players on the part of partners who can support a teammate if he does something wrong.
- Individual style ( PES ID ) : The first introduced individual style (IP) in PES 2013 totaled about 50 players. In PES 2014, the number of such players will increase significantly, moreover, the IP model of the team will be implemented for the first time.
- Team game : With the new tactics and player placement plan, our fans will get even more opportunities and freedom in key areas of the field using 3 or more players. What tasks you set for these players will become an important trump card in your sleeve in order to beat your opponent: players will follow your instructions in order to use the gaps in defense or midfield your opponent, for example, to make different types of runs along a curve rather than a straight line, or mutual races in order to be open at the right time.
- Kernel ( Eng. The Core ) : One of the most important features that we got thanks to the new engine Fox Engine - the movement of players, detail form, facial expressions, stadiums ... all this will imitate reality. Now the match will not be interrupted by short cutscenes ( eng. Cut scenes ) after certain events. Our fans will also see changes in terms of penetration of free kicks and penalties with a much greater reaction from the defense and more natural feelings.
PES 2014 will for the first time include a fully licensed Asian Champions League , as well as new teams. The game will be released on PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PSP in 2013 .
