Warzone is a New York hardcore band. Gathered in 1983 and played until 1997. Despite the tremendous contribution of all musicians who ever played in this gang, the band was based on Ray "Raebiz" Berberi (Raymond "Raybeez" James Barbieri). The band played hard, fast hardcore. Their lyrics had a sharp social orientation: rejection of any forms of discrimination (including racism and Nazism), condemnation of corrupt justice, and rejection of political disagreements among young people. At the same time, Raybeeze shared patriotic views, devoting a large part of his life to service in the US Navy .

At concerts, WARZONE was going to a completely diverse audience: anti-racist skinheads, punks, metallers, strategers. To prevent possible fights between fans of the group, Raybeez usually went out with a microphone in the auditorium and sang with the public, trying to create an atmosphere of unity for people with different political views, different skin colors, different ages and genders.
Ray "Raebiz" Berberi died in 1997 from acute pneumonia, which he earned in military service. The US government did not bother to give him any help, despite the fact that he was a veteran of the Navy.
Ray's death shook the New York and American hardcore scene. For a long time, above the entrance to the legendary CBGB club, there was a simple inscription: “RIP Ray” (“Rest in Peace, Ray”). A lot of gangs will perform covers of WARZONE songs at their concerts, in 2007 a band was released to Eternalis Rec.
