Aviation

Aviation at Regia Aeronautica was also weaker than that of opponents. In the initial period of the war, the Fiat CR.32 and Fiat CR.42 Falco biplanes were used as fighters, which were then replaced by the Macchi C.200 Saetta and Macchi C.202 Folgore [2] . Such aircraft as the SM.79 Sparviero [3] , SM.81 Pipistrello , Fiat BR.20 Cicogna and CANT Z.1007 Alcione were used as bombers .

Artillery

In Italian artillery, the cannon da 75/27 modello 11 [4] , the mountain howitzers Obice da 75/18 and Cannone da 149/35 A were used. The 20 mm anti-aircraft guns 20/60 Breda mod.35 and Cannone were used as anti-aircraft guns Mitragliera da 20/77, and as an anti - tank 47 mm Cannone da 47/32 .

Small arms

Carkano rifles and carbines , Beretta MAB 38 submachine guns, FIAT-Revelli M1914 machine guns and Breda 30 light machine guns, as well as Beretta M1934 and Beretta M1923 pistols [5] were used as small arms.

Naval technology

The Italian Navy included the battleships Andrea Doria , Giulio Cesare , Litttorio and Vittorio Veneto [6] , as well as a large number of cruisers, destroyers and submarines. But due to the lack of fuel in the fighting, these ships took part quite limitedly.
