Rodrigo Garcia ( Spanish: Rodrigo García , 1964 , Buenos Aires ) is a Spanish playwright , stage designer and theater director of Argentinean origin, the largest and most active figure in the modern European scene.

Biography
The son of Spanish immigrants in Argentina, his father is a butcher. At the age of seven, Rodrigo saw on stage the drama of Garcia Lorca Yerma , staged by his namesake Victor Garcia, which decided his fate. He studied at the theater courses, but left them without accepting the Stanislavsky system . He became interested in the Becket Theater, Ionesco , Pinter . His next discovery was the production of Wielepole-Wielepole by Tadeusz Kantor . In 1986 he moved to Spain. In 1989, he founded La Carnicería Teatro ( Butcher's Theater ) in Madrid . Actively working in France.
Creativity
He was influenced by Heiner Muller . He seeks to connect on the stage the possibilities of various arts - from music to plastic. In addition to his own compositions, he staged plays based on plays and other texts by Baudelaire ( 1993 ), Thomas Bernhard (1993, 1995 ), Bruce Naumann (1993), Auden (1993), Heiner Muller (1995), etc.
