Located 10 km north of the regional center of the Red Hill , on the river Reshetikha .
The population according to the 2002 census is 194 people, 96 men, 98 women.
History
In the List of Populated Places of the Vesyegonsk Uyezd in 1859 [1] there is the treasury village of Ulyanino, 36 yards, 204 residents. In the second half of the XIX - early XX centuries, the village belonged to the Khabotsky parish and the volost of the Vesyegonsky district. In 1888 - 46 yards, 255 residents, except for agriculture, the inhabitants are engaged in crafts, go to work in St. Petersburg (janitors, cab drivers, workers at tanneries) [2] .
In 1940, the village was the center of the Ulyaninsky Village Council of the Krasnokholmsky District of the Kalinin Region .
In 1997 - 101 households, 290 residents. The administration of the rural district, the central estate of the Lenin Way collective farm, an incomplete secondary school, a kindergarten, a recreation center, a library, a first-aid post, a post office, a branch of a savings bank, a shop.
