"Front without mercy" ( it. Front ohne Gnade ) - adventure action movie, 13-series television series produced by the GDR television, released in 1984. Originally conceived as a prequel to the TV series " Archive of Death "; however, the plot was reworked and became completely independent, the majority of the cast were the same.

Story
The series tells about the struggle of the German anti-fascists, since the Nazis came to power in Germany and until the end of the Second World War .
The main character is the anti-fascist, communist Herman Anders. His acquaintance, a young man named Heiner, is caring for the servant Annie, who worked in the home of a high-ranking SA officer Otto von Wietke. During the " Night of the Long Knives " he was killed, his widow went insane, and the SS observaturmbannführer Maas settled in the house (growing up to the rank of brigadeführer in the course of the plot). Annie begins to fulfill the orders of Herman and follow the Nazis.
During the Spanish Civil War, Herman fights on the Republican side, where he abducts the captain of the Condor Legion, Baron Gottfried von Lindeck, and under his guise, sneaks into the camp of the Franco.
After a series of adventures, some of the heroes die, others live to see the defeat and capitulation of Nazi Germany and the victory of the Soviet Union . The main anti-heroes, Meuse and his assistant Menge, after a brief post-war imprisonment, enter the service of the CIA and BND .
