Biography
A graduate of the Kiev hockey school, where he began his career as a youth member of the Sokol club, who played in the East European Hockey League (VEHL) ( 1998/1999 season). In subsequent years, he continued to play for the Kiev clubs playing in the VEHL and in the championship of Ukraine - βKryzhinkaβ , "Kiev" and in the main team of the Falcon , with whom he twice (in the seasons 2000/2001 and 2001/2002 ) became the silver medalist, and in the 2002/2003 season - champion of Ukraine.
In 2003-2004 he played in the club of the Russian major league - the Kirov-Chepetsk Olympia .
At the beginning of the 2004/2005 season, he moved to the Belarusian extra - league club - the Mogilev Khimvolokno club, with which he was Russian in the same season became the bronze medalist of the championship of Belarus.
In 2008-2010 he returned to Kiev Sokol (in the 2008/2009 season he played in the major league of Russia, then in the Belarusian extra-league ), with both seasons ( 2008/2009 and 2009/2010 ) became the champion of Ukraine.
In the 2010/2011 season, he played at the Gomel club (Belarusian extra-league), in the 2011/2012 season, the Donetsk Donbass , who played in the VHL , having again won (with the second composition of the club) in the Ukrainian championship ( 2011/2012 ).
In the 2012/2013 season, he played in the Kiev β Golden Eagle β, then moved to the wedge β Titan β (VHL), and since 2004 - in the clubs of the Kazakhstan Hockey League - first in the Atyrau β Beibarys β, then in the Pavlodar club β Irtysh-Pavlodar β (with whom he became the champion of Kazakhstan in the season 2014/2015 ). Since 2005, he has been playing for the Ukrainian hockey league clubs - Kiev Generals ( 2015/2016 ) and temporarily based in Druzhkovka Donbass ( 2016/2017 ), with which he again won the gold medals of the Ukrainian championship.
Career in National Teams of Ukraine
In 1998-2000, he was invited to the junior and youth teams of Ukraine to participate in world championships among youth under 18 and under 20 years of age .
In 2002 and annually since 2004 he was called up to the Ukrainian team to participate in various world and European tournaments. He is a participant in 12 world championships ( 2005 , 2007 , then in the I division: 2008 , 2009 , 2010 , 2011 , 2012 , 2013 , 2014 , 2015 , 2016 and 2017 ), participated in the qualification tournaments of the four Winter Olympics ( 2006 , 2010 , 2014 and 2018 ).
Disqualification
In 2005, there was a report about the athleteβs disqualification for two years for doping (the reason is a positive result of a sample taken during the World Cup) [1] . However, later the International Sports Arbitration Court in Lausanne canceled the two-year suspension of the defender of the national team of Ukraine.
