Killer Women ( Killer Women ) is an American television series created by Hannah Shakespeare and starring Trisha Helfer . At the center of the plot is Molly Parker, the only female Texas Ranger , who has an unrivaled sense of crime detection, and at the same time starts a love affair with the sexual and dangerous FBI agent Dan Winston ( Mark Blucas ) [1] . The series went on ABC in the 2013–2014 season [2] [3] [4] , the premiere took place on January 7, 2014 [5] . The series joined the series of failed ABC projects in the 2013–14 season, attracting scanty 0.9 at the start in the demographic category 18-49, 31 percent lower than the cut-off time after two episodes of the drama " Lucky Seven ", also released in Tuesday’s ten-hour slot. [6] .

Production
In early October 2012, ABC bought the pilot episode script from Hannah Shakespeare and Sofia Vergara , which is an adaptation of the Argentine anthology series [7] . On January 25, 2013, the channel gave a green light to the shooting of the pilot episode, and Lawrence Trilling was invited to the place of its director [8] .
Casting for central roles began in February 2013. February 19, it was announced that Tricia Helfer will play a leading role in the pilot [9] [10] . The next day, Mark Blukas received the main male role opposite Helfer [11] . Alex Fernandez and Martha Milans soon got two more regular roles [12] , and on March 8 it was announced that Michael Trukko would play the role of the elder brother of the heroine Helfer. It is noteworthy that Helfer and Trukko previously starred together in the TV series " Star Cruiser" Galaxy " " [13] [14] .
On May 10, 2013, ABC gave the pilot a green light and ordered the series to be shot for broadcast in the 2013–14 season [2] .
