"Big Joe" ( eng. Big Joe , MFA: - Big Joe ) - a stone found by the descent vehicle Viking-1 in July 1976. "Big Joe" was the largest stone lying next to the " Viking 1 ". The size of the stone is comparable to the size of the banquet table . Big Joe and other stones in this area may have been subject to wind erosion [1] . Wind speed in this area can reach 7 m / s.
