Biography
Kent became a cryonics activist as a college student upon hearing a lecture by Robert Ettinger . Subsequently, he read Oettinger's book The Perspective of Immortality (published in 1964 ) [1] . Known for the case of Dora Kent, beheaded at 83 years of age. According to Alcor, the woman was in the stage of clinical death , but, according to the coroner, she was not provided with timely medical care, since her son, Sol, gave the body for cryonization.
In 2000, Kent appeared in a documentary directed by Errol Morris , where he discussed his views on cryonics and the motivation for cryopreservation of his mother's head so that her brain could be restored later.
