Troekurov, Ivan Borisovich

Ivan Borisovich Troekurov ( 1633 - 1703 ) - Russian statesman from the princely family of Troekurov . A roommaker ( 1676 ), a parish (1676) boyar ( 1677 ) and governor in Kiev ( 1678 ), in Smolensk in (1680-1681) [1] [2] .

Biography

The eldest son of the boyar of Prince Boris Ivanovich Troekurov (? - 1674 ) from his marriage to Agrafena Mikhailovna (? - 1673 )

Boyarin since 1677 , governor of Kiev . At different times he headed the order of the Big Treasury , the Inozemsky order , the Reytarsky order and the Moscow Judicial order .

Troekurov enjoyed the confidence of the young Tsar Peter I for switching to his side at a difficult moment in the struggle for power with his sister, Princess Sophia . After the execution of the supporter of Sophia Fyodor Shaklovity , Peter made Troekurov in 1689 the head of the Streletsky order . Ivan Troekurov became the last head of this medieval department, which at the end of its existence, in particular, was transferred the functions of improving Moscow .

At 4 Georgievsky Lane , the chambers of the boyar Troekurov 1691 - 96 were preserved. in the Moscow Baroque style - an object of cultural heritage of federal significance. The tsar repeatedly visited the Troekurov house. Family

Ivan Borisovich Troekurov was married twice:

The first wife is Vasilisa Bogdanovna Khitrovo, daughter of the influential boyar Bogdan Matveevich Khitrovo . Troekurov had three children with her:

  • Fedor ( 1667 - 1695 ), steward, scorer [3] , who died near Azov at the age of 28, is Peter's favorite.
  • Ivan ( 1670 - 1702 ), steward, indoor steward , captain, killed during the storming of Noteburg
  • Praskovya ( 1691 - 1748 ), who married Count Ivan Petrovich Tolstoy

The second wife is Anastasia Fedorovna Lopukhina, sister of Tsarina Evdokia Fedorovna [4] .
