Kulikovskaya-Romanova, Olga Nikolaevna

Olga Nikolaevna Kulikovskaya-Romanova (nee Pupynina ; September 20, 1926 , Valevo , Yugoslavia ) is a Russian public figure, honorary academician of the Russian Academy of Arts (2005), the author of many publications in foreign and Russian press, a member of the Russian Writers Union . The widow of Tikhon Nikolaevich Kulikovsky-Romanov - the native nephew of Nicholas II .

Biography

Born September 20, 1926 in Yugoslavia in the family of Russian emigrants.

She studied at the Mariinsky Don Institute of Noble Maidens (a Smolny branch), evacuated from Novocherkassk during the Civil War to the city of Bila Tserkva in Yugoslavia.

During the Second World War, she was interned in Stuttgart , where she worked in a factory. Subsequently, she moved to Venezuela , received a medical, commercial, architectural education.

After moving to Canada , she worked as a translator in government institutions.

June 8, 1986 in Toronto married Tikhon Nikolaevich Kulikovsky-Romanov .

In 1991, together with her husband, she organized the charity fund The Russian Assistance Program named after Her Imperial Highness Grand Duchess Olga Alexandrovna , her mother-in-law . From this moment on, he constantly visits Russia, personally participating in helping hospitals, shelters, organizations, and individuals. After the death of her husband in 1993, she headed the activities of the Fund.

He speaks seven languages: Russian , French , German , Spanish , English , Serbian , Italian .
