The single was released in three editions: Edition A has only CDs, Edition B includes, in addition to CDs , DVDs with music videos - βThe WORLDβ and βAlumina,β and Edition C which, in addition to CDs and DVDs, has photo cards in a random selection of one from group members.
The songs were used as the opening and ending themes in the anime series - Death Note , which made the band very popular not only in Japan but also around the world.
