History
Mausoleum Records was founded by Alfi Falkenbach in 1982 [1] . In the 1980s, the label published recordings of artists such as Killer, Wildfire, Ostrogoth, Crossfire, Barón Rojo , Warlock , Blacklace and Witchfynde . For three years ( 1983 - 1986 ) Mausoleum Records has released more than 100 releases of various musicians [2] . In 1986, the label transferred the rights to the name and business to a German partner, but in 2001 resumed its activities in the same format [3] .
As of 2013 , the firm was a subdivision (sub-label) of the Music Avenue label group. In the catalog of Mausoleum Records appeared as veterans of the metal scene ( Molly Hatchet , Cinderella , Ian Gillan , LA Guns ), and more modern bands (Hyades, Always Fallen, Hills Of Kings, Awaken, Taunted, Raven Lord, Grenouer , Nitrovolt) [ 1] [4] . On March 1, 2016, Alfie Falkenbach passed away from cancer, Mausoleum Records is suspended.
