Biography
Beykutbay Dembaev was born on May 10, 1916 in the village of Narynkol (now the Narynkol District of the Almaty Region), (Kazakhstan) in a peasant family. Kazakh. Before the army he graduated from 5 classes and courses of tractor drivers, worked as a mechanic on a collective farm. In the Red Army called in October 1939. On the front - from August 1941 .
The gunner of the 76-mm guns of the 43rd separate Guards anti-tank division of the 39th Guards Rifle Division ( 8th Guards Army , 1st Belorussian Front ) was particularly distinguished in the battles for the liberation of Poland and the storming of Berlin .
Sergeant B. Dembaev on August 1, 1944, while crossing the Vistula River in the area of Skurča-Wilczkowice (8 km south-east of Varka , Poland ), he put down a mortar battery and a machine gun. On August 7, 1944 he was awarded the Order of Glory of the 3rd degree.
On August 5, 1944, near the town of Utniki (Radomskoye voivodeship, Poland ), while repelling the enemy’s counterattack, he hit a tank and destroyed many enemy soldiers. On October 26, 1944, he was awarded the Order of Glory of the 2nd degree.
