History
Near the village is located the ancient settlement of the medieval city of Saraichik , now largely destroyed by the underwater of the Ural coast.
The village of Saraichikovskaya [3] was part of the 3rd Guryevsky military department of the Ural Cossack army .
Previously, the village was called Saraichik, now it is the name of a nearby village (formerly Skilled).
Population
In 1999, the population of the village was 573 people (282 men and 291 women) [4] . According to the 2009 census , 662 people lived in the village (328 men and 334 women) [4] .
