Myawadi (Burmese. Myawadi Myou) is a border town in the state of Karen on the road from Molamyain to Mesot (Thailand). In the Miawadi area, the natural boundary between Thailand and Myanmar is the Menammei River. A modern bridge was built across the river. The Miawadi-Mesot border crossing is one of the transit points of the international India-Thailand highway construction project.
