Biography

Ivan Ivanovich Vasichev was born in 1922 in the village of Usadche (now Peremyshlsky district of the Kaluga region ) into a peasant family. Russian. Member of the CPSU (b) since 1945. Primary education. Before and at the beginning of the war he worked on a collective farm. In the Red Army since 1942. In the battles in World War II from September 1943. He particularly distinguished himself in the battles for the liberation of Poland and during the storming of Berlin.
