Moomin ( ム ー ミ ン Mu: min ) is a Japanese anime series released by Tokyo Movie Shinsha and Mushi Productions , broadcast on Fuji TV from October 5, 1969 to December 27, 1970 . The plot of the series is based on the tales of the Finnish writer Tove Jansson , about the Moomins [1] . The series was broadcast on the English, Spanish, German and Tagalog channels [2] . This is also the very first Japanese film adaptation of the Moomin [3] .

Content
Story
The plot describes the adventures and everyday problems of the Moomins and their friends. The plot is an expanded version of the book, it is also deeper and more dramatic. The characters are more similar in nature to themselves from the later works of Tove Jansson. Snork is practically not involved in adventures here, his actions, such as finding gold, are now reserved for Snusmumrik. And instead of Snork, Baby Mu becomes a constant companion, who constantly throws characters into adventures.
