Blackadder, Todd

Todd Julian Blackadder ( born Todd Julian Blackadder ; born September 20, 1971 in Rangior ) is a New Zealand rugby player and rugby coach. He currently leads the English club " Bat ". In the past, he worked as an assistant to the head coach of the Edinburgh club and head of the Tasman Rugby Union.

Career

Gaming

As a player, Blackadder played 25 matches for the national team , of which 14 played as captain. At the New Zealand stage of his career, he represented the Crusaders and the national team of the Canterbury region, where he was also a captain (earlier, in 1900, had 9 matches for the Nelson Bays national team). He acted in the position of lock. He continued his professional appearances in Scotland, where he played for Edinburgh . He played for the national team at the first world rugby 7 championship.

Coaching

At the end of his career, he began assisting Scottish head coach Matt Williams and Edinburgh coach Frank Hadden. He later moved to the position of sports director (also head coach) of the Tasman Rugby Union. Finally, in 2009 he headed the Crusaders . In 2011, together with the Crusaders, he became a finalist in the Super Rugby Championship .
