The flag was approved on June 29, 2012 by the decision of the Council of the Shepsinsky rural settlement No. 242 [1] and entered in the State Heraldic Register of the Russian Federation with assignment of registration number 7998.
Description
"A rectangular panel with a ratio of width to length - 2: 3, reproducing the composition of the coat of arms of the Shepsinsky rural settlement of the Tuapse district in blue (blue), green and yellow colors."
The heraldic description of the coat of arms reads: “ In a golden field with a azure scaly tip, three (one and two) black with a silver dolphin abdomen .” [2]
Justification of Symbols
The flag in the language of symbols and allegories reflects the historical, cultural and economic features of the rural settlement.
The Shepsinsky rural settlement is located on the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus, at the mouths and in the lower reaches of the mountain rivers Shepsi , Dede, and Volny, as the lower blue strip of the cloth allegorically indicates, in the form of a scaly wave.
The blue color (light blue ) symbolizes honor, sincerity, virtue, sublime aspirations.
The basis of the economy of the Shepsinsky rural settlement is the provision of services in the resort industry, as the yellow color of the panel allegorically indicates.
Yellow color ( gold ) symbolizes southern sunlight, stability, prosperity and respect.
The image of dolphins indicates their constant presence along the entire coast of the settlement. Dolphin is a symbol of friendliness, freedom, nobility, love, pleasure and security. Dolphin is an allegory of sea recreation.
