In 1965, the board 91495 was briefly operated in the Tashkent squadron of the Uzbek Directorate of the Civil Air Fleet, and on October 31 of the same year it was transferred to the Frunzensky Air Detachment of the Kirgiz Directorate of the Civil Air Fleet. In total, at the time of the crash, the airliner had 16,598 flight hours and 14,162 landings [1] .
Catastrophe
The plane served a local flight Zh-28 on the route Talas - Frunze . He was piloted by a crew of 250 flight squad, consisting of the commander (FAC) A.I. Fateev , co-pilot A.Shevchenko , navigator Yu. M. Kuravleva , flight mechanic G. T. Shalygin and the radio operator I.I. Pleskaneva . At 19:36 local time, the IL-14 flew out of Talas airport at a magnetic course of 270 °. Onboard there were 35 passengers: 28 adults and 7 children [2] .
After departure from the airport, the aircraft, according to the established scheme of exit from the airspace, had to turn left. But the crew broke the rules and turned to the right in the direction of the ridge and began to climb, while flying along the left edge of the route. At 19:42 the crew conducted radio communication with the dispatcher on the tower of the Talas airport, and the dispatcher, knowing that the crew was violating the established flight pattern, did not demand to return to the track. Meanwhile, the airliner continued to dodge to the left of the route, while not gaining a safe height [2] .
At 19:50, 14 minutes after departure, flying in the clouds at an altitude of 3150 meters (1884 meters above the level of the airfield ) and dodging to the left from the highway at 8700 meters IL-14, 39 kilometers northeast (azimuth 70 °) of the Talas airport in a treeless shallow (22 °) mountainside. The plane flew up the slope about 50 meters, completely collapsed and partially burned. All 40 people on board (5 crew members, 28 adult passengers and 7 children) died [2] .
Reasons to
At the conclusion of the commission investigating the incident, the cause of the disaster was a violation of the visual flight rules by the crew commander. He deviated from the road, did not maintain a safe height and with all this flew in the clouds. During the investigation, it turned out that the crews regularly violated the flight rules in the Frunzensky squadron [2] .
