Player Career
He played the position of attacking defender . He studied at Temple University , in 1994 he was selected for the NBA Draft under the 10th number by the Los Angeles Lakers team. Later he played for the teams Charlotte Hornets , Miami Heat , Memphis Grizzlies and Dallas Mavericks . In total, the NBA spent 14 seasons. He joined the 1st national team of NBA newcomers (1995). Three times he took part in the NBA all-star game (1997-1998 and 2000). Once was included in the 3rd national team of all the stars of the NBA (2000). Three times included in the 2nd team of all the stars of the defense of the NBA (1998-2000). Once was the leader of the regular NBA interceptions championship (2000). In 1994, he was recognized as the basketball player of the year among students of the Atlantic 10 conference , and also won the Robert Gizi prize . In total for the career in the NBA played 954 games in which scored 14 155 points (an average of 14.8 per game), made 3857 rebounds , 2812 assists , 1620 interceptions and 580 block shots .
