(2713) Luxembourg ( Luxemburg. Lëtzebuerg ) is a typical main belt asteroid that was discovered on February 19, 1938 by the Belgian astronomer Eugene Delport in the Royal Observatory of Belgium , located near the town of Uckel and named after the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg , the dwarf state in Western Europe [1 ] .
