The III Interregional Open Championship of Russia on sports backgammon was held in Ufa from May 1 to 5, 2013 [1] in three categories: Backgammon ( short backgammon ), Nardegammon (long backgammon with a doubling cube) and Classik (long backgammon). On May 5, within the framework of the Championship, a tournament dedicated to Victory Day will be held - a tournament for veterans of the Armed Forces of the USSR and Russia for the Cup of the Naval Assembly of the Republic of Belarus for long classic backgammon.
About 200 people from the regions of Russia and abroad fought for the victory in the tournament.
Venue - Ufa , Empire State Park, (29 Sofya Perovskaya St., Building B). The grand opening on May 1 at 11:00 hours [2] .
100 thousand rubles were played [3] in each of the three tournaments [4] .

Organizers
The organizer of the competition is the "Sports Backgammon Federation of Russia", Moscow (FSNR). With the direct organizational participation of the Regional Public Organization “Maritime Assembly of the Republic of Bashkortostan”, Ufa [4] .
Members
The III Interregional Championship of Russia in Sports Backgammon is open, it is open to all comers who have paid a Voluntary entry fee, regardless of citizenship, gender, race or nationality [4] .
About 200 participants.
Tournament Format
BackGammon, NardeGammon and Classic tournaments are held separately and are independent tournaments, category I.
BackGammon tournaments are held in accordance with international rules, NardeGammon and Classic tournaments are held in accordance with the rules approved by the “IFSS”.
Tournaments are held according to the combined system: the qualifying cycle - the Swiss system (4-6 rounds, depending on the number of participants), the final cycle - the Olympic system Full Double Elimination.
In BackGammon, NardeGammon tournaments, if the final is won by Winner, the competition ends, and if Loser wins, then the participants play another decisive match (with a full super final);
In the Classic tournament, if the final win is “Winner” or reduces the match to a draw, the competition ends, and if “Loser” wins, the participants play another decisive match [4] .
Rules
Scoring a Game
Draw - 0.5 points (for Classic)
Oin (simple game) - 1 point
Mars (double play) - 2 points
Coke (triple play) - 3 points (for BackGammon)
Doubling Cube (Dave) - has values (2; 4; 8; 16; 32; 64) - an attribute in the game
The result of the game played is multiplied by the value of the doubling cube set on the game board.
First move
For matches on BackGammon, Nardegammon:
Opponents play each new game of the match the first move as follows: everyone throws one dawn (dice), and who has more value, he performs the first move from this combination.
For Classic matches:
Before the match, the color of the checkers is played out;
White always starts, and black has the right of the last throw;
The game may end in a draw.
Opponents in the match alternate right white.

Prize Fund
The prize fund of each tournament is 100,000 rubles.
The prize fund is formed from voluntary entry fees of participants. Its size varies depending on the date of application:
I. in advance, from the moment the competition date is announced, but no later than March 15, 2013 - 1,500 rubles.
II. In the period from March 16 to March 31, 2013—2000 rubles.
III. from April 1 to April 28, 2013—2500 rubles.
IV. Directly during registration on May 1, 2013, 3000 rubles.
