Biography

Marina Gavrilko was born on July 23, 1913 in St. Petersburg . The father of the future actress, Vsevolod Andreevich Gavrilko was an artist , and his mother, Ekaterina Vatslavovna Vilyamovich , was an actress. Parents separated when Marina was one and a half years old and until eleven years old she lived with her grandmother in Crimea . In 1924, Marina's stepfather drove her to an orphanage in Leningrad , where she studied and lived until she was seventeen. While studying at school, the girl studied at the children's art studio at the Leningrad Youth Theater and graduated in 1930 .

In 1930 - 1932 , the actress worked in the Leningrad Proletcult , and in 1932 she began her career in Moscow . In 1933 - 1940 - as part of the Maly Theater troupe.

She began acting in films in 1939. Since 1940, she worked at the Mosfilm film studio .

In 1942 - 1945 - actress of the front-line theaters.

In 1945 - 1946 - work at the New Theater .

In 1947 - 1948 she worked in the Theater-Studio of the film actor .

In 1949 - 1952 she directed the amateur art activities of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs . Since 1949, she also participated in dubbing foreign films.

In 1951 - 1961 she worked under contracts in the cinema. In 1961, the actress entered the state of the Gorky Film Studio , where she worked until 1990 .

Died on February 6, 1994. An urn with ashes was buried in the columbarium of the Don cemetery in Moscow.
