Biography

He was born on October 13, 1895 in the city of Izyum, Kharkov province. Ordered in 1920 . In 1924 he graduated from the Kiev Theological School . He served in the cemetery church of Raisins . October 15, 1937 arrested and sentenced to death . Shot on January 17, 1938 in Kharkov .

Canonization

On June 22, 1993, the Decree of the Holy Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church [1] adopted a decision on the local canonization of the ascetic in the Kharkov diocese , in the Cathedral of the New Martyrs and Confessors of the Sloboda Territory (Memorial Day - May 19 ( June 1 )).

The rank of glorification of the ascetic took place during a visit to Kharkov on July 3-4, 1993, by the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, His Beatitude Metropolitan of Kiev and All Ukraine Vladimir [2] , in the Cathedral of the Annunciation Cathedral of the city [3] .
