Biography
Born on June 23, 1879, in the settlement of Chernyanka, Kursk Province (now the district center in the Belgorod Region , Russia ). He served in the village Kochotok near Chuguev . October 17, 1937 arrested and sentenced to death. Shot on December 16, 1937 in Kharkov .
Canonization
June 22, 1993 The definition of the Holy Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church [1] made a decision on the local canonization of the devotee in the Kharkiv Diocese , in the Cathedral of the New Martyrs and Confessors of the Slobodsky Krai (Memorial Day - May 19 ( June 1 )).
The rite of glorification of the ascetic took place during his visit to Kharkov on July 3-4, 1993, the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, His Beatitude, Metropolitan of Kiev and All Ukraine Vladimir [2] , in the Cathedral of the Annunciation of the city [3] .
