First Marriage
She was married to Ferhat Pasha [1] , who later became the third Vizier of the Ottoman Empire during the time of Piri Pasha [2] . “Wildness was part of his nature,” Lamb wrote about him [3] . But there is no evidence that this manifests itself in the family. In any case, the Beihan Sultan defended and defended him when he was first punished by Suleiman, using his mother’s influence on Suleiman [4] [3] , and she could not forgive her brother for her husband’s execution. The Beihan Sultan broke off relations with his brother-Sultan [4] . Having met him at her mother, she dared to say: “I hope that soon I will mourn again, already according to my brother” [5] [3] . After the execution of Ferkhat Pasha in the fall of 1525, Beikhan first refused to remarry and left Istanbul for voluntary exile [4] .
Second Marriage
Nevertheless, there is information about her second marriage with Mehmed Pasha, from whom she gave birth to a daughter Ismikhan Hanim-Sultan (she was alive at the time of the death of Beikhan-Sultan). The exact dates of the wedding and birth of the daughter are unknown, but it is believed that this happened after 1524 [1] .
Death
Beihan Sultan died before 1559 [1] in her palace.
