Flag of the Tyosovsky rural settlement

“The flag of the municipality of Tyosovskoye rural settlement of the Luga municipal district of the Leningrad region is a rectangular panel with a ratio of flag width to length - 2: 3, reproducing the composition of the coat of arms of the municipality of Tyosovskoye rural settlement of the Luga municipal district of the Leningrad Region in black, white and yellow.”

The heraldic description of the coat of arms reads: “ In a black field is a silver eagle with golden beak and paws .”

According to the “Memorial Book of the St. Petersburg Province” for 1905 ^{[3], a} significant part of the modern territory of the Tyosovsky rural settlement was part of the rural societies of the Butkovsky volost of the Luga district of St. Petersburg province .

Another part of the territory of the modern Tyosovsky rural settlement belonged to the Tyosov volost of the Novgorod province until 1927. According to the decree of the Presidium of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee on December 10, 1928, the Kamenno-Polyansky village council was transferred from the Chernivsk district of the Novgorod region to the Oredezh district of the Leningrad region. By the decision of the Leningrad Executive Committee of July 10, 1959, the Kamenno-Polyansky village council was renamed the Tyosovsky village council. By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR of October 22, 1959, the Oredezhsky District was liquidated, and the Tyosovsky Village Council was included in the Luga District.

The silver eagle recalls the ancient monument - the ruins of the stone church of the Nativity of John the Baptist (1552-1563), from 1646 with the chapel of St. John of Novgorod, from 1718 with two chapels: the stone - the Holy Spirit and wooden - the holy Clement of Rome, burned down in 1827 year. In the years 1832-1834, the side chapel of St. Mitrofan of Voronezh was arranged in the crypt. Closed in 1939. Acted in the years 1942-1945 ^[4] .

Black color is a symbol of prudence, wisdom, modesty, honesty, antiquity and eternity of being. A color reminiscent of peatlands and peat enterprises that laid the foundation for the history of the village of Tesovo-4 . Also a reminder of the former Chernivtsi district , which included Kamenny Polyany.

White color ( silver ) - purity of thoughts, truthfulness, innocence, nobleness, frankness, integrity, hope. Lake White.

Yellow color ( gold ) is a symbol of divine radiance, grace, strength, grandeur, sunlight. It also symbolizes power, strength, constancy, nobility, justice, fidelity.
