Ruth Bazzi ( born Ruth Buzzi , born July 24, 1936 ) is an American comedian [1] . She played about a hundred roles throughout her career, but she is best known for her regular appearances in the comedy sketch show Hochma Rowan and Martin, where she starred from 1968 to 1973.

In 1972, Bazzi won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role - a mini-series, television series, or television movie for her participation in The Hochma Rowan and Martin [1] . In addition to this, for her work on television, she was nominated five times for the Emmy Award [2] . Bazzi appeared in more than twenty films, where she mainly performed comedy cameo roles, voiced animated series, and at the beginning of her career she was noticeable in the sitcom “ This Girl ”. In 2002, she was inducted into the National Television Hall of Fame for her work in comedy shows. [1]
