Sherpa, the representative of the President of the Russian Federation on affairs of the group of leading industrial states and relations with representatives of the leaders of the G20 countries, has appointed Ksenia Yudaev, head of the Expert Directorate of the President of the Russian Federation.

The main topics proposed for the consideration of the summit were:

  1. Implementation of the Framework Agreement to ensure sustainable, confident and balanced growth;
  2. Employment provision;
  3. Reforming the international monetary system;
  4. Reform of financial regulation and supervision;
  5. Sustainable development of global energy markets;
  6. Promotion of international development;
  7. Strengthening multilateral trade;
  8. Anti-corruption.

It is also expected that the aggravated situation around Syria and ways out of the crisis will seriously adjust the agenda of the G20 summit. All states are ready to discuss and resolve this issue. Bilateral meeting of the US and Russian leaders did not take place.

Following the summit, the St. Petersburg Declaration of G20 Leaders with Attachments was published [1]

The final meeting of the G20 Sherpas was held in Moscow on October 24 [2] . At it, delegates discussed the progress achieved in the main areas of work, analyzed the results of the Russian Chairmanship, considered possible ways to further improve the work of the G20, and also began discussing the agenda and priorities of the upcoming Australian Chairmanship.
