Open Your Eyes is the first album featuring session musician guitarist Billy Sherwood as a member of a rock band (he also plays keyboards on this album).
The album was originally planned as a collaboration between Squire and Sherwood, but later, due to contractual obligations, it was redesigned and released under the brand name βYesβ.
Content
Criticism
The album received mixed reactions from critics and fans and failed commercially, reaching only 151 places in the United States, and did not even hit the UK charts. Anderson and Howe explained the failure of the album by the fact that they had little time for the full development of the material, since the album needed to be released urgently.
