The Genie Family ( Japanese ハ ク シ ョ ン 大 魔王 Hakusyon Daimao:) is a Japanese anime series released by Tatsunoko Production [1] . It was broadcast on Fuji TV from October 5, 1969 to September 27, 1970 . The series has been translated into English , French , Spanish , Italian , German , Dutch , Polish , Portuguese and Arabic [2] . In total, 52 anime series have been released [3] .

Content
Story
A boy named Kan-chan is unlucky all the time, he is not popular among girls, bullies scoff at him, once in the attic he finds an old bottle in which genie Hakusen, his daughter Akubi and his wife are imprisoned. If you sneeze into a bottle, then Hakusen comes out and fulfills the desire, if you yawn, then Akubi comes out, if you shed tears, then your wife. Since Hakusyon is very clumsy, fulfills all his desires awkwardly, while Akubi is more capable than his father, however, she deliberately distorts the meaning of desires and thereby does harmful mischief. As a result, any desired desire turns into a new disaster.

- A statue of the main genie can be seen in the first episode of the 2008 series Yatterman .
- The main genie appears in the Japanese version of the fighting game Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars , however, under the license of the game in the west, the character was removed [4] .
