History
Formed from part of Krylova street and part of Tile street. The tiled street was first mentioned in the Street Register in 1853, passing from Novobosornaya Square to the camps of the Tomsk Regiment. Apparently, the name "Tile Street" is associated with the brick and tile industries located here at that time, which are mentioned in the documents of the RGADA .
October 31, 1899 in the house 6 on Cherepichnaya street was opened for some time inactive public library of Tomsk . The librarian in it was Julia Nikolaevna Milyutina, the wife of A. I. Milyutin, the librarian of the University .
