Sleptsovskaya (station)

The station is located on the northern outskirts of the town of Sunzha , 2 km south-east of Magas Airport . The station is the terminal on the Beslan - Sleptsovskaya railway line.

The station’s station complex includes: the main station building, the apron , railway tracks, hangars , station square. The post office of the Russian Post Office is located in the station building.
The station and the station square are perpendicular to Rabochaya Street, the main street of the Ordzhonikidzevskaya village, passing through the entire settlement. Near the station is a bus stop.

The station Sleptsovskaya station belongs to class III .

On the occupied space the station belongs to the small .

By location relative to the apron tracks, the station is longitudinal .

On February 9 ( January 27 ), 1913, at the station Sleptsovskaya, on the rise from the train with oil tanks, 40 tanks broke off and rolled back. Having developed a great speed, the detached part of the train with tanks collided with a freight train 4 versts from Sernovodsk station. Over 30 wagons were broken and damaged in both trains. In the outbreak of fire killed 2 train employees. ^[2]
In 1915, the Prokhladnaya - Gudermes railway line ^[3] was commissioned, which also included Sleptsovskaya Station ^[4] .
On February 23, 1944 ^[5] , the Ingush were forcibly driven to the station Sleptsovskaya and sent to exile in Kazakhstan and Central Asia in freight cars. In memory of this crime, a memorial plaque is installed on the wall of the station building.
During the fighting on the territory of the Chechen Republic, the railway section from the station Sleptsovskaya to the station Grozny was destroyed and dismantled. So the Sleptsovskaya station turned out to be a dead end on the Beslan - Sleptsovskaya line.

The station performs the following operations:

• Reception and delivery of small shipments of cargo (covered warehouses)
• Receipt and delivery of goods by carload and small shipments, loaded by whole cars, only on access roads and places of non-general use. ^[6]
• Receiving and issuing carload shipments of goods that require storage in indoor warehouses stations.
