Biography

Vyacheslav Evskin was born on June 19, 1960 in Tashkent . He graduated from high school and the Tashkent Institute of National Economy, after which he worked at Stroybank in the Uzbek SSR . In 1987, Evskin was accepted into the service of the USSR State Security Committee . He participated in the battles of the first Chechen war [1] .

On August 6, 1996, Chechen separatists surrounded the dormitory building of FSB officers in Grozny . Refusing to give up, about 90 FSB officers took the fight. He fired on the separatists until the ammunition ran out, and then blew himself up with the grenade surrounding him with a grenade. He was buried in Anapa [1] .
