The village is located southeast of the city of Rybinsk , southeast of the Toropovo station of the Rybinsk - Yaroslavl railway . This is the last village of the Volga settlement in the direction of the railway, further to the side of Rybinsk there are settlements of the October rural settlement . To the north-west of the village on the other side of the railway is the village of Toropovo [2] .
As of January 1, 2007, there were no permanent residents in the village [3] . The post office of Ermakovo — First serves 7 houses in the village of Kosterino [4] .
